Overview
As an instructor in a course, you have the ability to publish a recording to another different section. The most common use case is when you need to re-use a recording from last year.
Instructions
To publish a recording to another section
Log into Echo360 as an instructor.
Go to the Courses tab.
Search and locate the Course/Section.
Click on it to enter.
Click on the Media Properties button, select Details
Go to the Publishing tab, select Classes.
Click Add to Class.
Fill out the form
Select New Class. (Important) - Do not select Existing Class as it will override the existing recording in the class.
Choose the Course, Term and Section.
Enter Class name - This is normally the title of the recording.
(Optional) Enter Start Date, Start Time, and Duration. If you prefer not to display these details, you may remove/delete them.
Click Done.
You will notice that the recording is published into multiple sections.
