How to Create a Section Access Link

Overview

As an instructor in an Echo360 course, you have the option to create and share a link to your Echo360 section. This link can be posted outside of Echo360 and provides easy access for viewers to see all recordings within the section.

Instructions

To create an Echo360 section access link:

• Log into Echo360 as an instructor.

• Navigate to the course you want to create a link for from the Courses tab.

• After selecting the course, click Settings.

• Click Access Links on the left.

• Click the ADD LINK button.

• Click on the URL shown in the Link area to copy the URL.

• By default, the link created will be set as Private. This means users will need to login in order to view the recordings,  Toggle to Public if you do not require a login to view the content.

When you no longer need the link, you can Delete it. Any instances of the posted link will no longer work (and will never work again).

If you want to keep the link for later use but suspend access to the course via the link, turn the Active toggle OFF instead. This retains the link but does not allow users to access the course via the link while it is inactive.
