Overview
This guide explains how to access and view Echo360 recordings and livestreams within your Blackboard course. It also includes an overview of the video player controls.
Instructions
Go to your course in Blackboard.
Go to Course Content area.
Click the Lecture Recordings and Livestreams link. In some courses, it may simply be labeled Lecture Recordings.
A new tab opens with a list of recordings.
Click anywhere on the title of the recording to start watching.
Livestream
When a class is live, a signal icon appears next to the class name. If the class is scheduled for a future livestream, a gray ‘LIVE’ badge is displayed instead. Please note that not all classes are livestreamed.
Click on the name of the event to enter.
A countdown timer displays the time remaining until the livestream begins.
From the dropdown menu, select whether you are joining Remotely or In Person. The experience slightly differs when you join remotely versus in person.
(Optional) Select Automatically join when stream starts to enter the session as soon as it begins.
If the class has already started, click Join Session to enter immediately.
