Course Content Items
Learning Module: This is basically like a folder that holds a collection of material. But you can additionally add a small image icon to it to make it look distinct.
Folder: Folders can hold any item except for Learning Modules. There is a restriction now where you can only have 2 levels of content (I.E. a folder inside of a folder) and you cannot go any deeper than that.
Document: A document can hold text, images, videos, files, and HTML code.
Link: A URL that you can post to a website, article, etc.
Teaching tools with LTI connection: These can connect external tools outside of Blackboard. Please do not use this and connect with out team if you have more questions.

Assignment: Students can upload their essay-based work here.
Form: Utilize this to create survey questions.

Journal: Journals are personal spaces for students to communicate privately with you. Students can also use journals as a self-reflective tool.
