Overview
If you setup BOTH a Due Date & Release Condition (aka “Access From” and “Access Until”) you can follow these steps to change either the Due Date or Access From / Access Until date when you have conflicting times.
Instructions
1. Find your quiz and click Edit release conditions
2. Change the Access Until a later date. This is the day it will close to the students. (In this example I changed my date from 7/15 to 7/17)
Note: You can also uncheck this option if you have “Prohibit late submissions” turned on in the Quiz settings and just want the quiz deadline to follow the “Due Date”)
3. Go to the Quiz Settings by taking a step back and click the name of the Quiz. Then click the Gear in the upper right corner.
4. Change the Due Date to the new deadline date. (It must be BEFORE the Access Until date)
5. Click Save
6. Optionally: You can now go back into the Edit Release Conditions and change the Access From date, if you don’t want students to access the quiz yet. (This must be BEFORE the Due Date)
Removing the Due Date Completely
Right now if you want to remove the due date completely:
Go into the Edit release conditions page.
Select the 3 dots … in the upper right
Select Delete
You will be completely deleting this Rule and can make a new one later if needed.
