Overview
This page will go over how to make content in your course available or hidden, individually and on mass.
Note: By default, all content folders, documents, links you create are set to be hidden from students by default.
Instructions
When creating any content type, you can click on the Hidden from student’s tab and switch it to Visible to students.
After you have created content in your course, you can also easily change the visibility of that content, by clicking directly underneath the name of the content.
There is a way to make multiple content within your course available or hidden all at once through Batch Edit.
Inside your course within the Content tab, click on the 3 … dots in the upper right corner.
Then select Batch Edit
In this example I have a 2 items, living inside 1 folder, which is living / nested inside a learning module. They are all hidden to students.
I selected the checkbox of the top item (learning module) which automatically selects all items nested / living inside it.
On the bottom right of the page, select Edit visibility
Change the setting to either hidden or visible and then select Save Visibility
