How do I enter the FINAL LETTER GRADE?
Graded columns are automatically created when you create a graded assignment, test, survey, discussion board, test, blog, wiki, or journal in Blackboard and assign a point value. You may need to create additional columns for items not created in Blackboard.
3. One of the columns in the Grade Book is called Final Grade. By default this column is hidden from students.
4. Click the dash in the cell you would like to enter the grade.
5. Enter your students' letter grades as you would like them to be sent to the Registrar.
6. The entered grade must be numerical unless you are importing an excel file into your gradebook. Once you enter the number hit Tab
or Enter (Return) to submit the grade.
7. Grades are expected to be entered one week after the end of the semester.

Releasing after Evaluations
If you want to release grades only after a student submits a course evaluation, and you are using Blackboard for the course evaluation, here's a suggestion.
Add all the grades to the Final Grade column so that the Registrar can see the grades.
Create an additional column called Final Course Grade. Make this column visible to students. As students complete the survey (you'll see a green checkmark when they do), key in the grade that you entered for them in the Final Grade column.
