Overview
There may be instances where you would need to change a user’s privileges in your course. This can be accomplished by changing their role in the course from the Roster page.
Note:
Do not change any existing staff user’s role to a student role. If there is a discrepancy with the students list in the Roster, please reach out to the Registrar’s office.
Instructions
Go to the Roster page: On the right-hand menu, under Details & Actions, under Roster, Select View everyone in your course.
Click the name of the user or select the ellipsis (three-dot symbol) to open their Member Information.
Under the Role area, use the drop-down menu to select the new role to be granted for the user.
Click Save.
