How to Hide or Unhide Grade Columns From Students
Instructions
In your course, go to Gradebook and then select Gradebook, followed by Grades
Click the icon above the name of the column you want to change, then select Edit.
Change the setting to visible to students or hidden from students
How to Hide or Unhide Grade Columns From Your Instructor View
In your course, go to Gradebook and then select Gradebook, followed by Grades
Click on the Gear button and select Manage gradebook items you will see the full list of your gradebook columns
On the right column you can toggle Instructor visibility for each column
How to Re-arrange Grade Columns
a. Inside of Gradebook select Gradable Items
b. Search for the column here, it may in the middle or bottom of the page.
c. Re-arrange the columns by selecting the up and down arrows in the right most column, click and drag to move the items.
How to Create a New Column
In your course, go to Gradebook and then select Gradebook, followed by Grades
Click the purple + button in-between two columns where you want to place your New columns
Select Add Item for a standard column. You can also select “Add Calculation” for a column that calculates a grade based on a percentage / formula.
Give your column a name, number a points, then click Save.
