How to Embed a Video (Ultra)

Overview

These are the steps on how to embed a video (from Youtube, Vimeo, Echo360, etc) in your course.

Instructions

In most areas in Blackboard where you can write a block of texting, including documents, assignments, and discussion boards:

• Click the + Insert Content button from the tool menu.

• Select Embed Media

• Then paste the URL of the video here and select Insert

• From your video platform of choice, usually there is a Share button

• Within the Share menu, copy the Embed code

• In your course, select the + Create sign and add a new Document

• From the menu, select HTML

• Then Paste the Embed code you got earlier

• Select Save
